You will be introduced to a variety of characters here. There is Papa who married me 43 years ago. He's retired, a tinkerer extraordinaire, an avid outdoors man and a very patient man. We have a wonderful son whose passion is fishing. We'll need to work on our pond to see if we can upgrade it so he can fish in it. He has a lovely daughter who is our only grandchild. She has joined FFA and can't wait until we add some animals to the farm. Our darling daughter and son-in-law are in business for themselves and don't get many weekends free for visits. We hope we can correct that next year since we'll have somewhere for them and their dogs to stay. Grandma is my precious mother. She is 86 and has recently been slowing down. We're hoping, come spring, she will be able to join us at the farm for some good, old fashioned fresh air & sunshine. Our goofy dog, Summer, is a blessing and a pain in the neck. She thinks she is human and can't understand why we can't understand her as well as she does us.

And, lastly, there is me the city girl with the tiny farm. There are so many interesting things to do and learn here. In addition to gardening, canning, dehydrating and cooking, I love to dabble in genealogy, reading and learning new things. I hope some of you will join me here as I record my adventures, successes, failures and new experiences.Looking forward to making some new friends and sharing with the old.
God is good. Blessings from our tiny farm,
Mare
